Book lovers with a taste for the eerie and otherworldly are invited to step into the shadows at the Spooktastic Haunted Book Fair, happening Saturday, October 17, from 12–3 p.m. at Creative Cafe, 3318 Corunna Rd, Flint, MI 48503.
The event promises an afternoon filled with dark and paranormal romance, spine-tingling horror, haunting histories, and fantastical tales—the perfect mix for readers who like their stories on the spooky side. In addition to a wide selection of books, attendees will also find bookmarks, stickers, and other macabre merchandise to complete their haunted haul.
Whether you’re seeking your next paranormal love story, a chilling ghost tale, or simply a spooky souvenir, the fair will offer something for every fan of the macabre.
This event is free to attend.

We have a few author and vendor spots still available for the second annual Spooktastic Haunted Book Fair.
Authors- we are seeking dark romances, paranormal romance, horror, fantasy, romantasy, true crime, and haunted history books (or anything else that fits into the dark and spooky category).
Vendors- we are seeking book and Halloween related arts and products- book marks, tote bags, art, and other macabre merchandise.
If accepted for this event, you will receive an email with a contract, event details, and an invoice.
Applicants will be selected based on how well their books and merchandise fit the spooky, macabre, Halloween theme.
All authors and vendors must provide their own 6ft table (or other display), chairs, and table covering.
Space is very limited. You can choose to use either a display rack or a 6-foot table. Everything must fit within your six-foot space and be provided by you (the author/vendor).
The fee is $45
